On March 25th, a small group of cyclists will begin an epic journey, riding from Chiang Mai to Phuket, Thailand a grueling ride of approximately 1580km, that we’ll attempt to complete in less than 6 days, in support of “A New Vision”, an organization that is working to make a difference in people’s lives.
There are 39 million people in the world today who are blind, 4 out of 5 don’t have to be!!! A cure is available now, there is no research or medical breakthrough required. A simple 8 minute procedure is all it takes, a procedure that cost the same as what some people spend at Starbucks in a week. Sadly, for millions of people who are blind, that cost is out of reach, and they spend their lives in darkness.
“A New Vision”, an organization that, is dedicated to restoring sight to impoverished people in South East Asia. To help “A New Vision” continue with their life changing work, my friends and I have organized this ultra-long distance cycling event, the “VisionQuest 1500”.
Please support us, by donating generously to this worthy organization.
On January 8, 2017 the VisionQuest1500 was created to raise funds for A New Vision. The VisionQuest1500 will involve ten cyclists riding from Chiang Mai Thailand to Phuket Thailand in late March 2017. The ride is approximately 1500 km in distance with more than 8000 meters of climbing.
A New Vision is an organization that treats curable blindness across Southeast Asia.
